With the 2011 SEMA Show now over, the hottest cars have been named and the awards have been handed out. Rather than naming the top tuned cars at the show, the SEMA Awards name the best cars for tuning. Based on the number of aftermarket parts exhibited, the Camaro won the award for being the most accessory-friendly car at the show, .
“After more than two years on the market, the Camaro continues to inspire creativity and Chevrolet is thrilled to see that expressed in all the wonderfully personalized examples here at the SEMA show”, said Chris Perry, vice president, Global Chevrolet Marketing and Strategy.
This is the second year in a row that the Camaro has won this award. In fact, it’s the only muscle car to ever lay claim to the title.
