Can’t get enough of Audi’s crossover? Here’s a look at another one, the Audi Q3 Jinlong Yufeng Concept. Debuting at the Auto China 2012 in Beijing, the Q3 Jinlong Yufeng is a mouthful but commemorates the year of the dragon.
The name Jinlong Yufeng means “Golden Dragon in the Wind”; the vehicle shown in Beijing is another variant of the compact Audi Q3, this time based on the trendy and fast-moving sport of kitesurfing. As such, a primary highlight is the two kitesurfing boards mounted on the roof.
The Q3 Jinlong Yufeng is powered by Audi‘s 2.5 TFSI, a five-cylinder engine with direct injection and turbocharging that produces 310-hp (228 kW / 310PS). A seven-speed S tronic transmission that sends all that power to the quattro permanent all-wheel drive, allowing a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 5.5 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph).
