The Toyota Yundong Shuangqing, shown at the 2012 Beijing Motor Show (Auto China), is a China-only hybrid concept.
Not much is known about the futuristic car, but the word ‘Yundong’ is said to suggest “movement upon clouds,” conveying an image of innovation, dynamism and eco-friendliness. It’s Toyota‘s slogan in China.
Shuangqing, on the other hand, suggests “dual support” and signifies the duality present in a petrol-electric hybrid system. The hybrid technology in the Yundong Shuangqing is developed by the Japanese automaker’s R&D Center in Changshu, China.
