The all-new Cadillac XTS is now in production, so here is the first commercial (viewed above) on the brand’s latest executive sedan. It gets to the point, sells a key highlight of the car and doesn’t go on and on. That highlight, of course, is the patented Safety Alert Seat that pulsates to warn the driver of difficult to see obstacles.
The 2013 Cadillac XTS is propelled by a 3.6-liter V6 that produces an estimated 300 horsepower and 264 pound-feet of torque. Equipped with a standard Hydra-Matic 6T70 six-speed automatic transmission with tap-shift capability, front-wheel-drive models deliver an estimated 17 miles per gallon in the city and 28 mpg on the highway, while AWD models return 17 / 27 mpg city / highway.
