New 2013 SEAT Toledo Pictures and Details

2013 Seat Toledo

It was at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show that SEAT unveiled the Toledo Concept. Fast forward three months later and we have the production version of the Spanish automaker’s latest family sedan. The new Toledo borrows a lot from the Volkswagen Jetta.

The production Toledo doesn’t deviate too much from the concept. It measures 4.48 meters long, has a wheelbase of 2,602 mm and retains the wide-opening, notchback-styled rear hatch.

A verity of engines will be offered, including 1.2-liter and 1.4-liter TSI turbocharged patrol engines that produce between 74 horsepower (75 PS) and 121-hp (122 PS). A manual gearbox and an optional 7-speed dual-clutch DSG transmission will be available depending on the unit.

The diesel range will initially include a 1.6-liter TDI making 103-hp (105 PS) and, later in 2013, a unit making 89-hp (90 PS).

The all-new 2013 Seat Toledo will first go on sale in Spain and Portugal in November 2012 and then throughout the rest of Europe in 2013.
