The McLaren MP4-12C Spider (convertible) is a tad bit slower than the roadster, but that’s a sacrifice many are willing to accept in exchange for its sleek and nicely-integrated retractable hard top. The British automaker has released a new video (see above) showcasing said hardtop it action. It only takes 17 seconds to operate it.

The MP4-12C Spider packs the same 616-hp (625 PS) twin-turbocharged V8 as the Roadster.
