All-new 2014 Mazda6 Wagon Photo Render

Thanks to the guys at PS-Garage, we have a leaked photo (show above) of the Mazda6 Wagon ahead of its official reveal, giving a look at how the sedan will turn out. And here we thought we would have to sit through Mazda’s teaser reel of the car…

Just as we thought, the new Mazd6 adopts the brand’s latest design language, which was inspired by the Takeri Concept and first adopted by the Mazda CX-5 crossover. In fact, it literally looks like a sedan / wagon version of the CX-5.

Both the Mazda6 sedan and wagon will make their world debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.

UPDATE: As it turns out, the Mazda6 Wagon above is not the real deal (click here for the real car); it’s a rendering, a pretty good one at that. We wouldn’t be surprised if the final product ends up looking like that.

This doesn’t appear to match the lines of the Takeri concept, especially along the sides of the car. Are you sure this is accurate?

  The car above is just a render — our mistake. If you look at the latest teasers on the Mazda6, you could see that it is indeed influenced by the Takeri Concept, lines and all. The front fascia at least seems to look like the render above.
