While automotive icon Carroll Shelby rests in peace, Vicari Auto Auction has assumed responsibility for the sale of one the trailblazer’s personal automobiles — his 2009 Mustang GT500 KR (pictured above).
Effectively a collector’s item, the 540-hp muscle car has less than 1,600 miles on the odometer and is coated in black paint with a satin-black stripe. Vicari expects a sizable return for the model, which it guarantees will become more valuable over time.
The 2009 GT500 KR was one of the last models acquired by Shelby. It will go up for auction at the Missisippi Coast Coliseum from October 12 to 13 at the Biloxi Auction.
