VIDEO: Motor Trend’s World’s Greatest Drag Race Part 2

A world’s best driver’s car competition without a drag race? Not if Motor Trend has anything to do with it. After revealing the winner of its 2012 competition, the publication has released a new video featuring the nine contenders in an epic drag race.

In last year’s race, the Nissan GT-R took home the cake. This year, it has its work cut out in the face of new competition from the likes of the Lamborghini Aventador, McLaren MP4-12C, Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series Coupe, Chevrolet Camaro Zl1, Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, Jaguar XKR-S and Porsche 911 Carrera S. The underpowered Subaru BRZ, despite being a best driver’s car, was tossed into the mix for some giggles.

Watch the video above to find out which sports car is this year’s champ.
