The Toyota GT-86 was designed with the tuner crowd in mind. To demonstrate the customizability of the critically-acclaimed sports car, Toyota will release a catalog of aftermarket parts under its TRD brand.
Consisting of exterior, interior and mechanical modifications, the TRD Performance Line Accessories will be sold at Toyota dealership across Europe. The Japanese automaker used the 2012 Paris Motor Show to present a GT-86 fitted with select parts to showcase the possibilities available to buyers.
Exterior modifications include a front spoiler, side skirts, rear spoiler, a metallic silver fuel door with faux hexagon bolts, rear diffuser and TRD 18 inch alloy wheels. Interior accessories include a push button start switch mounted on the center console and a shifter covered in leather.
To improve handling, the GT-86′s chassis can be fitted with a full-length ride adjustment shock absorber and spring suspension set, a front and rear stabilizer set and front strut tower bar with a carbon fibre shaft. For stopping, there is a Monoblock Brake Kit with 14-inch front discs and 13.6-inch rear discs linked to Brembo calipers
Unfortunately, no changes are offered under the hood.
