Mahindra has announced that the Maxximo will be available this month for the Indian market and for other selected market. First unveiled at the 10th Auto Expo 2010 held in New Delhi, the Maxximo is the world’s first mini-truck to be powered by a 2-cylinder CRDe engine with DOHC technology and 4 valves per cylinder. The engine produces 25HP of power and 5.5 Kgm torque. Fuel mileage is estimated at 20 kmpl.
The Maxximo is Priced at Rs. 2.79 lakh and is available with free maintenance for one year / 40,000 km – a first for the segment. With a loading area of 3.2 square meter, a superior load carrying capacity of 850 kg and rigorous test-runs under its belt, the Maxximo has proven to be an ideal vehicle for the transportation of small cargo.
The Maxximo will be available in four shades – Appy Red, Diamond White, Sunny Yellow and Leaf Green.
