Refresher: The xDrive35i is now powered by the same single turbocharged N55 six-cylinder available in most of the BMW range. It can sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 6.4 seconds. The xDrive50i is now powered by a 400-hp twin-turbocharged 4.4L V8, allowing it to reach 0-60 mph in 5.3 seconds. Both engines are now mated to a new eight-speed automatic transmission. The diesel xDrive35d doesn’t get any changes under the hood for the new year.
