All eyes are on Haiti, even in the automotive industry. With GM donating 30 Sierra pick-up trucks to the devastated country’s relief efforts, Penske Corporation wasn’t far behind with its own donation of over $1 million worth of diesel-powered flatbed trucks to the cause.

“I’m pleased the Penske Corporation has stepped up to donate more than $1 million worth of trucks, which will be instrumental in mobilizing food and lifesaving supplies in Haiti,” President Clinton said. “Their generous contribution is an example of what the private sector can do to help Haiti rebuild and recover from the massive earthquake, and I’m grateful for their leadership.”

Given the poor living conditions in Haiti, we’re hoping that the other major player in the industry also lend a hand.

If you want to donate a small sumn you can download a minute of silence like a song. the money will help to rebuild the country.
The minute of silence remembers you of the catastrophe every time you “hear” it.
