We reported earlier that Honda would update its Ridgeline pickup truck for 2011. Well, apparently we were mistaken. PickupTrucks.com, the source that originally reported on the matter, received an email today from Christina Ra, manager at Honda public relation, saying:
“American Honda apologizes if there was inaccurate information shared at the Chicago Auto Show about the Honda Ridgeline pickup. I can confirm that there will be no significant change to the Ridgeline through the 2011 model year.”
With this clarification, the Ridgeline will move on as one of the oldest models in Honda’s lineup.

Novak, the problem is that no one is buying the Ridgeline, despite its innovative styling. What’s Honda to do?
They have a great looking design and functionality already. Unless they are going to blow other truck makers out of the water with some amazing new feature that no other truck has, there isn't much of a point in messing with a good thing!
