GM announced yesterday that it will debut the North American version of the Chevrolet Cruze at the 2009 LA Auto Show, which begins on December 2. The Cruze has already been launched in Europe and Asia and will hit North American showrooms in the third-quarter of 2010. It will feature a lineup of fuel-efficient engines, including a base 1.4L 4-cylinder that will deliver up to 40 mpg on the highway.

GM also said it will release more details on the initial retail markets where the Volt will be sold. Stayed tuned for our coverage of the 2010 LA Auto Show.

   This would be a good one. I think the Chevy Cruze came late enough in LA. A lot of people out there in that area waited for this car for so long.
