What car won the 2010 World Car of the Year? The good ol’ Volkswagen Polo, which beat 30 other vehicles nominated by 59 World Car jurors from 25 countries around the world. Rounding off the top three were the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class and the Toyota Prius.
The Chevrolet Camaro was declared the 2010 World Car Design of the Year, while the Audi R8 V10 was declared the 2010 World Performance Car. The Volkswagen BlueMotion (Golf, Passat, Polo) was named the 2010 World Green Car.
