Italian luxury automaker Maserati has officially entered the Philippines market. It commemorated the day with the grand unveiling the all-new Quattroporte S and Granturismo S, two of its most prestigious offerings, at the Rockwell Tent Garden Plaza in Makati City. The launch is part of the automaker’s new 5-year plan to increase worldwide sales from 2 billion Euros in 2009 to 3.5 billion Euros in 2014.
Formula Sports Inc. (FSI), the official distributor of Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles in the Philippines, was recently appointed by Maserati to be the country’s exclusive importer and distributor of the ultra high-end brand.
“These are exciting times for luxury cars enthusiasts. The Maserati brand caters to our most discriminating clientele. Now is the best time to aggressively market the Maserati, given that other luxury vehicles have been around for a while and buyers are hungry for an alternative,” said Wellington Soong, chairman and president of FSI, the the official distributor appointed by Maserati to be the exclusive importer and distributor of the brand.
According to Maserati officials, the automaker has invested in special equipment and tooling required to service the luxury sports cars and flew in a technician from Italy to train the local servicemen to ensure quality after-sales service to existing and new customers of Maserati vehicles.
Pricing starts at Php10.5-Million, all the way up to Php11.8-Million depending on trim and options which can be customized to the buyer’s liking.
