Ford Earned $2.6B Profit in Second-Quarter 2010

Still riding on the momentum of having not accepted a government handout, and from having more desirable vehicles, FoMoCo has announced a second quarter 2010 net income of $2.6 billion, or 61 cents per share. That’s a $338 million improvement from the second quarter of 2009 and a $932 million improvement from the first quarter of 2010. More details can be found in Ford’s messy press release.

    Good for Ford for not taking government handouts. The PR is hard to understand though, I was never good with numbers. Too many numbers for me in there.
