Car enthusiasts and journalists had high expectations for the all-new 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and as the latest reviews have show, they won`t be disappointed. Autoblog was smitten with the Jeeps good balance of city and off-drivability. It was also impressed by its quality materials, fit and finish and overall design. MotorTrend, in its comparison between the Cherokee and the latest Toyota 4Runner, affirmed Autoblog`s experience, preferring the Jeep over the Toyota.
As Zach Bowman of Autoblog puts it, “Chrysler really has done something impressive with the 2011 Grand Cherokee. The company is plainly operating with a dearth of resources compared to both Ford and General Motors, but has managed to turn out a product capable of keeping pace, if not besting comparable metal, from those two at the same time. Here’s hoping the Pentastar can pull off similar feats of engineering and accounting wizardry with the rest of its fleet.”
