For 2012, Mercedes-Benz C-Class gets a subtle face-lift and a some significant interior and mechanical upgrades. The exterior changes include a new front bumper, aluminum hood, headlights and a restyled rear bumper.
Inside, the 2012 C-Class now mimics the E-Class. It now offers new driver assistance systems such as Attention Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Assist and Parktronic, helping keep the driver safe.
Under the hood, the refreshed C-Class gets a new base engine, a direct-injected 1.8L turbocharged unit that produces 201-hp and 229 lb-ft. of torque and gets 24 mpg (combined city/highway). The V6 in the C350 returns with some upgrades that now allow it to produce 302-hp and 273 lb-ft. of torque (compared to the previous 268-hp and 258 lb-ft.) The 2012 C-Class will go on sale in North America next summer.
